This is a 3 plate package that includes two bare tempered 1095 spring steel plates and one Tyson coated plate. The Tyson-coated plate can handle any filament on the market without the need for glue or additional adhesion aids.

The two bare spring steel plates are highly durable thanks to the hardness and microstructure of the steel. However, unlike the Tyson coated plate, they will typically require glue or another adhesion promoter when printing with most filaments.
